Raven hair and hazel eyes,
the eyes that show it all.
Show that inside she's breaking,
losing her will of everything.
All she wants will never be.

She's fading away, doing a disappearing act,
but nothings different, it hasn't changed.
They still don't see, don't hear
her sad eyes and lowered voice.
The scars on her body that tell the story.

She walks the halls like a zombie,
sitting in class in a trance.
And no one says a word. Not even
the ones who are supposed to know.
She just wants to be saved,
by anyone, by him.

The only one who notices her pain,
the way she just hasn't been sane.
She'd cry herself to sleep like usual
but lately the tears just haven't come.
All she wants is that happy life.

She wants to hear she's beautiful
and know they mean it, not just for her looks.
She wants to see that glint of happiness
in her eyes as well as theirs.
She wants to feel those butterflies
and have what the movies portray.

She needs someone to see her,
and prays for the days when boys
don't mean she's protected and okay.
